Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this session, Scott Anderson will highlight examples, research, and testimonials of the impact Leader in Me is having on students, staff, and parents across Minnesota and around the country, answering the fundamental question, “is it worth it?”.

Leader in Me shifts our paradigms about leadership, provides highly effective practices, and delivers measurable results in the classroom, on campus, and in the community based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Having recently received the distinguished endorsement of CASEL for Social Emotional Learning, Leader in Me directly aligns with the expectations and guidance of the Minnesota Department of Education.

Leader in Me is a comprehensive K-12 whole-school transformation model that equips students with the essential leadership and life-readiness skills they need to thrive in the 21st Century; represented as a global community of educators in over 3,500 schools in 80 countries.

In the words of Muriel Summers, Elementary Principal of A.B. Combs in North Carolina, “We only get one chance to prepare children for a world none of us can possibly predict, what are we going to do with that one chance?”

Scott Anderson will be joined by Diedre Bloemers, Leader in Me Principal at University Elementary in Anoka-Hennepin.
